All courses are held at 101 Bridle Road, Burton Joyce, Nottingham, NG14 5FS. (Map)
We are situated on top of a hill, a mile from the village centre, with a beautiful 360 degree view of the Nottinghamshire countryside. On a clear day you can see Belvoir Castle.
The workshops consist of full or half-day sessions in a wonderful tranquil environment which will help you to unwind and recharge your energy. They include all materials & home-cooked, local vegetarian food.
Parking is easy and off-street and transport arrangements can be discussed if you need some help getting here. In the summer I like to run the courses outdoors whenever possible.

The courses usually run on weekends from 11.00 to 16.00 hrs.

I am a qualified Cordon-Vert cook and I provide home-made vegetarian lunches which are included in the course fee. I can cater for any special dietary requirements if you give me sufficient advance notice. To secure a place please send a £10 booking fee with your booking form.

The Natural Year

A very practical course looking at life's natural cycles from a Western, Ayurvedic and Chinese Five Elements point of view which will offer guidance on diet, lifestyle, exercise and nutrition and will help you to live more in tune with the seasons.

The theme is to have a 1 day workshop session for each season.

• Spring season of the body
  
• Summer season of the emotions
  
• Autumn season of the mind
  
• Winter season of the soul

The day will include a 3 course lunch prepared using only local, in-season and mainly organic products. Here I am winning on Ready Steady Cook with Gino last year at the Birmingham Good Food show (I beat my daughter Tanne and James Martin!).

Places are limited so book early; the day will run from 12.00 till 3.30. All food is cooked by me. Gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options are available on request.

3. Learn to draw your spirit guide

Autumn 2008 Full day workshop date to be announced

This is a practical and fun day on which we shall learn how to link with spirit friends and guides and how to draw them.

You will learn how to communicate with spirit, how to use your aura and how to draw a human face. You do not need to be an artist; we will be working with pastels and all materials are provided.

Cost of the above course is £22 including lunch and all materials.

Chakra & Colour courses

Introduction to the key centres of the body through movement, sound, scents, massage and meditation.

A very practical workshop which will enable you to experience the freeing up of physical and emotional energy that occurs when Chakras operate in greater harmony and balance. New introduction to the Chakras is planned for Autumn 2008.

I run a variety of courses, from introduction to advanced level. A new advanced course will start on Saturday 12th April 2008 and will run over 8 Saturdays between then and the end of 2008. The 8-day Intensive training is an indepth course for people who wish to further explore work with subtle energies.

The course incorporates exploring the chakras and stabilising the emotional and physical bodies. It explores each of the seven major charkas of the human energy system in both an experimental, theoretical and practical way.

Each chakra relates to a part of the body, specific organs or glands and their responses to affirmations, colours sound and healing massage (with oils and essences).

The course is designed to give you a better understanding of subtle energy and how to work with it to enhance your health, vitality and self worth.

There will be an introduction and initiation session and a final session on exploring the new chakras.

Course fee will be £27.50 per module, to include all materials & lunch. B & B possibilities available on request.

Discovering your Personal Angel

Throughout time people have been interested in and fascinated by Angels. This 1 day workshop will help you to discover your guardian and personal angel (s) for guidance and enlightenment. The course is practical and inspiring. It runs from 11.00 to 4.00 and is £22 including lunch and materials. The next course is Saturday 27th September 2008.

Growing Old Disgracefully

A course for women of 40 plus.

We will explore the social, physical and emotional aspects of growing older, share experiences and ideas, consider the choices and possibilities, and celebrate our strengths and lives as older women. A change to have fun and let your hair down- even if it is going grey!

Next course (9 sessions) will start in Burton Joyce on Saturday 7th June 2008, 10.00 till 11.30a.m.

Spiritual Awareness Course

A new course starting on 30th April 2008. 3 sessions, 2 till 4 pm.
The course will cover all aspects of inner development and will give you a basic understanding of psychic sensing and it's use.
We will look at:

• Sensing and reading the Aura,

• Flower-reading,
  
• Clairvoyance, clairaudience and clairsentience,

No previous experience is necessary. The course will be led by Diane Rayfield and Manon. Cost £7.50/session or £20 for the full course.
